Face à Face Eyewear Blast: trompe-l’œil lunettes
I love fun frames, those that make heads turn while you are walking along the streets, at least twice… obviously!
These Face à Face eyeglasses are definitely heads-turning: first of all the color, a vibrant emerald green, perfect with dark blonde or red hair; the finishing, polished and glossy, shiny and gorgeous; then this fantastic floating effect, thanks to the mix of transparent and colored acetate; last, but not least, the subtle cat-eye design, which lifts up your cheekbones and gives the illusion of contouring.
Let’s admit it! French people know how to make glasses!
I had the pleasure to meet Face à Face team in Paris at Silmo and in Milano Mido. I tried on the entire collection and, believe me, it was really worth it.
Last, but not least, something about my outfit. The main piece here is this striped shirt: I decided to match it with these eyeglasses because of its resemblance with the trompe-l’œil effect of the frame.

ITA Face à Face Occhiali Blast: trompe-l’œil lunettes
Adoro le montature divertiti, quelle che fanno girare le teste quando cammini per strada e, almeno due volte, ovviamente!
Questi occhiali da vista Face à Face sono decisamente da far girare la testa: prima di tutto il colore, un verde smeraldo vibrante, ideale per chi ha capelli biondo scuro o rossi; poi c’è la finitura lucida e glossy, scintillante e bellissima; poi c’è questo effetto fluttuante, grande al mix fra l’acetato colorato e quello trasparente; in ultimo ma, non ultimo, questo design cat-eye quasi accennato, il quale solleva lo zigomo e dà un effetto quasi di contouring.
Ammettiamoli, i Francesi gli occhiali li sanno davvero fare!
Ho avuto il piacere di incontrare il team di Face à Face a Silmo e a Mido l’anno scorso. Ho anche provato tutta la collezione e ne è valsa davvero la pena!
In ultimo ma, non ultimo, due parola a proposito di quello che indosso. Il pezzo principale, oltre agli occhiali, è di certo la camicia a righe: ho deciso di abbinarla a questa montatura per la sua somiglianza con l’effetto trompe-l’œil degli occhiali.
Bianco e verde, trasparenze e colori pieni, eleganza e allure…
