Profili is the brand new design by the Italian excellence LAMARCA

You already know it: when I see a cool frame I can’t stop myself from smiling and, since a couple of months ago, when I visited TRIS OTTICA (the factory where LAMARCA is produced and designed), I’ve never put a sad face on.

Let’s start from the beginning:TRIS OTTICA (founded in 1991, 700.000 produced every year) is a company based in Veneto, Italy, specialized in working with acetate. Let me say it, they are brilliant! They put together and completely transform acetate slabs to create colorful combinations. The craftsmanship behind each piece is stunning.

Well, TRIS OTTICA produces eyewear for some of the best brands on the market, but, it also designs its own frames: LAMARCA collection.

I kept an eye on LAMARCA for quiete some time and, finally, I have the pleasure ti shoot these marvelous eyeglasses. The collection that we chose for the first shooting is PROFILI (but, spoiler, you’re going to see more by this brand during the year, I promise!) and it is characterized by two pieces of acetate put together to create the illusion of a double frame. The light that passes through the transparent details, make the the first layer floating. The effect is magical.

Last, but not least, these guys here are so comfortable that you will forget to have them on. LAMARCA is very much focused on comfort; plus, the design works perfectly with almost every kind of lenses and prescription.

Profili è il nuovissimo design dell’eccellenza italiana LAMARCA

Già lo sapete, quando vedo un bel paio di occhiali non riesco a trattenermi dal sorridere e, da un paio di mesi a questa parte, quando ho visitato TRIS OTTICA (la fabbrica dove viene prodotto e progettato il brand LAMARCA), non ho mai smesso.

Partiamo dall’inizio: TRIS OTTICA (fondata nel 1991, 700.000 occhiali prodotti all’anno) è un’azienda con sede in Veneto, specializzata nella lavorazione dell’acetato. Lasciatemelo dire, sono geniali! Mettono insieme e trasformano completamente le lastre per creare combinazioni colorate ogni volta diverse e meravigliose. L’abilità artigiana dietro a ogni pezzo è sorprendente.

TRIS OTTICA produce occhiali per alcuni dei migliori marchi sul mercato, ma disegna anche le proprie montature: ecco quindi che nasce LAMARCA.

Ho tenuto d’occhio LAMARCA per un po’ di tempo fra una fiera e l’altra e, finalmente, oggi ho il piacere di fotografare questi meravigliosi occhiali. La collezione che abbiamo scelto per il primo shooting è PROFILI (ma, spoiler, non è la prima volta e l’ultima volta che mi vedrete indossare LAMARCA quest’anno, promesso!) Ed è caratterizzata da due pezzi di acetato messi insieme per creare l’illusione di una doppia montatura sul frontale. La luce che attraversa i dettagli trasparenti, fa fluttuare il primo strato. L’effetto è magico.

Ultimo dettaglio, ma non meno importante, queste meraviglie qui sono così comode che ti dimenticherai di averli addosso. LAMARCA lavora tantissimo sul comfort; inoltre, il design funziona perfettamente con quasi tutti i tipi di lenti e prescrizioni.
