Opti Munich 2020: ready, set…GO!
The 2020 eyewear trade shows season is just behind the corner and we already look forward to seeing all the new trends. Our schedule it getting really packed for the first 3 months of the coming year and the first event that we are going to start the year with is, as usual, Opti Munich – this coming edition is taking place from the 10th to the 12th of January.
We are attending Opti Munich, as invited influencers, for the fourth time and we are more than excited. Why? Keep reading!
A stage of 60,000 square meters
Opti 2020 takes place in six halls, at the Fairground Munich.
Why coming to Opti? You can start the new year with a complete vision on the eyewear market: spectacle lenses, contact lenses, spectacle frames, refraction, diagnostics, low vision, machines, raw materials, hearing and acoustic devices, shop fittings, IT solutions, and accessories. If you like numbers, we can summarize these topics in more than 630 exhibitors and 1,200 brands.
Opti CAMPUS, opti SHOWCASE and opti FORUM
Opti is more than “just eyewear stuff”: Hall C4 will also represent the whole area of knowledge transfer, including the opti FORUM, opti SHOWCASE and opti CAMPUS, where ophthalmological educational institutions are represented. So alongside innovations in the fields of technology and design, Opti also offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge through specialist lectures and by exchanging your views with experts from around the world.
Not eyewear only: let’s talk about contact lenses!
As you probably already know, I’m an ortho-k girl and I’m in love with my contact lenses as much as I adore sunglasses. This coming 2020, 25 exhibitors focusing on the topic of contact lenses and contact lens supplies are attending the show! You can find them all in hall C6… if you are interested in the topic, you should definitely have a look! Here some of the brands your are going to find: CooperVision, Hecht Contactlinsen, Menicon, MPG&E, SwissLens and Wöhlk Contactlinsen.
The Blogger Spectacle Award
Last, but not least, our favourite event: The Blogger Spectacle Award! This is the part I love the most about Opti: it is the only eyewear trade show in Europe that gives the chance to influencer to judge and discover brand new eyewear brands with a proper event and competition. In past years – Stefano and I took part to all the editions of The Blogger Spectacle awards – all the brands that won the prize as best newcomer flourished and came back the next year as an established trademark.
